This was the first piece launched in July 2025 after wishing to fixed the issue between the poor 'replicas' being sold and their prices as well as the price of an original. As a student of history who gained his inspiration from reenactment, I believe that phsyical historic items, original or reproduction, should be accessible to everyone. Passion, interest and a great display should not be confined by budget. Since then the bettys have come along way and have sold over 400 units globally.
The production of each S-mine is completed entirely by myself. The fuses are hand painted and the lid/body is hand sanded, primed with three coats, sprayed in three coats of historically acccurate Field grey or Dunkelgelb and then sealed in three layers of high quality lacquer to protect the paint and give it that authentic finish which is loved by reenactors and members of the public so much.
The lid is able to be flipped storing the top of the lid inside the bucket for safe transportation between shows.
